School-based Youth Health Services
Port Augusta Secondary School has a number of school based health services available during term time to support young people:
- Student counsellor – Dani Librandi – Monday to Friday by appointment in school hours
- Headspace School Based clinics – fortnightly Wednesdays 9-1pm
- Donna Kite Psychological Counselling – fortnightly Wednesdays 9-3pm
- DECD Child Wellbeing Program – Social Work practitioner available weekly Tuesdays 8:30-3:00pm
The Youth Engagement Strategy (YES) team, Pastoral Support Worker, Aboriginal Education Team and Year Level Assistant Principals can also provide support and information for young people and their families.
To make an appointment to visit a school based health service, please contact the YES centre or our PASS school counsellor on 8647 3300.
In addition to the school based counselling service there are a number of other services in the community – please talk with one of the YES team or one of our school counsellors or Assistant Principals if you would like more information.
